Tibloc on the spliced end side of the rope, with karabiner attched which holds the pulley under the prussik.

Simple set up, similare to using a small prussik on that side holding a pulley under the hitch.

Nicely made video, I like the non controlled speedline set ups, a bit like a vertical speedline but not quite vertical, just enough to shift the debris away from the base. Good stuff!!

Cheers Rupe! I'd never heard of a Tibloc! Would you still need a short length of cord between the pulley and the Tibloc ? if so then surely you don't need the Tibloc????

No, a krab will do, but flexability is a problem IMO, i.e. it wont like any twisting. So a short length of cord is probably better as it allows twisting, and then like you say, no need for a tibloc.

Also, the tibloc is a bit fierce on the rope, very pointy little teeth in it.

I have one if you want to try it.

I liked that, a little bit different.

(Apart from the young-peoples music!).

The high stump explains the lack of stunt fell!

Fair sized tree that.

High stump just makes it a double stunt fell!

Good movie. Thanks for posting. From your accent Id say more NW England than NW Pacific? :thumbup1:

I would agree. I think Petzl developed the Triblock for 'rescue and emergency' rather than repetitive service. It has been reported to have stripped the sheath off the core. And you dont want to that too many times in a week!
