got a murry ride on, a bit of a older model than the your one. had it 3 years and cant complain

i got a murray ride on too hydro static though no complaints just change oil each year

Murray lawn mowing equipment here in the states has never been in the commercial trade when it comes to their equipment, only homeowner equipment. Don't waste your £££££ for something that will not last:thumbdown:

Underpowered domestic tat

Will come unstuck when trying to collect long grass or wet grass

Clever idea though of raising the effective axle and grass doesn't have to be lifted so high to be deposited in the box

For the money and for domestic use- a bargain

Save yourself the hassle and go for an Etesia or similar mate, Murray are aimed at the public not trade and will need replacing in no time if used pro.

have tried a few types lawnflite countax etc now got kubota 2100 gr diesel the difference is huge but i am not about to promote them as if you read my post on price of prop shaft parts are a joke

Its a mate who was interested for a footy pitch sized grass area.

Etesia is going to be to expensive i would have thought (though ok if I need to borrow it)

What would be a reliable ride on for domestic use? Opinions please!!! ha ha

Personally I would stay clear of the lower end machines if buying used, as you will get top end domestics for not a lot more money

IMO lower end includes Murray,Lawnflite, McCulloch AYP etc.

Mid range is Hayter (although some are Murray) ALKO, Twin Cut Countax etc

Top end is John Deere, Stiga Kubota ISEKI.

 

Top end domestic is suitable for footy field size (1 1/2 acres) no need to go fully commercial.
