he calmly picked them up and drove to hospital

RIP - he died last year - cancer

I didn't know that mate, and am really sorry to hear it.

I never met him, but I've heard some legendary stories about him, including the fingers one.

His company lives on, does it not?

The OP Chris used to work for him, but I see he's not been on here for a month himself. Perhaps he would have some of those type of epic stories we all love to hear.

I hope Chris hasnt got lost looking for that elusive mog!:sneaky2:

I worked for Colin white back in the day, what a hard man to be employed by!

His company is still going but ran by his son.

The Mog that tid thread was started about fell through, as I rang the fella to pay the deposit he had so e great news for me.... Gearbox packed in! I advised he took it to Alex Price but later found out it was down at Park Agri....

A year went by and still no fully running Mog???

This left me thinking maybe this was a sign... So I held off and went to see a great guy in Scotland, met him in a supermarket car park and had some great crack. / weeks later I was the new proud owner of my current Iveco, cheers again Stevie lad!!!

Funnily enough I've just done a job for another displaced Geordie down here who was mates with Colin at school, and he didn't know he'd passed away.

I know that one sheet of bog roll trick Chris, but I've never used it thank Christ! I've always got a roll of Andrex in the truck.

Maybe for the best, you seem very happy with the outfit you have now.

They always advise not to meet in a car park to do vehicle deals. I now know why if that's what your getting up to!!
