Look on the positive side, at least with a landy you soon have the back full and can rest while driving back to the yard to tip off :001_tt2::lol:

Very true, I'm just lucky I have plenty of dumps around my patch that I can go and drop at, also having a tracked chipper helps as I persuade the customer to keep the chips:)

I have just been reading in landrover monthly about the agrover, it had pto and 3 point link, portal axels, they said it was the link between the normal landy and unimog, they never took off which is a shame as there would be a market for something inbetween.

We have a 60 plate defender, it's running the 140hp 2.4tdci transit engine. Sounds like one too. Pulls well, fuel economy isn't brilliant, lucky to get mid 20s mpg. Not had any issues with it.

Hi rob we had 90 xtec 200 hp plus pulled very well 100 mph plus but that just mad now jon

I think its a transit engine.

No, thats the one I have its a 2.4, it was discontinued in the 2012 model the new 2.2 is a freelander engine. In the freelander its pretty nice, not sure how it would feel towing my wee tractor though....
