reet , this isnt for me but me dad , im sorting him with all my 3' / 4' branches for his log burner , part of the deal is i cant be arsed to cut them up for him.

so , he needs a chainsaw , i thought an electric as it isnt going to cut heavy / thick stuff . Plus if he gets a petrol one he might get on my mams tits.

Itl probly get used once or twice a month for a hour.

Any leccy one is enough they are all crap. The chains are so small he will be sharpening every cut anyways.

What about a bow saw, or similar or is it an age thing?

Just go b and q or other well known home store.

And see I didn't laugh, not so you could see it anyway.

Don't know much about electric chainsaws do ya?!

Makita and Stihl do respectable ones so long as it's the top model from each. The stihl one runs a 20" 3/8 bar and chain with full chisel. Nice and quiet, no fumes when ringing the firewood. Not saying they compete with petrol horsepower...
