Still using my original Oregon can with the auto-fill spout, now 13yrs old. The spout is worn from use yet still works reliably. No issues with the seals leaking or anything. I hate those Husky cans, when someone else comes along with them, spouts always seem to jam open, and if they happen to also own the 338 topper, the handle gets in the way of the spout of a Husky can.

monkeyd, on the stihl cans with the auto cut-off spouts, the oil one is a white-grey colour and the petrol is black so they can't be confused but they can be if you're not concentrating or are distracted.

Been through 3 spouts on the husky can its a pooper.

Got the stihl now very nice love it being see through no problems was told by stanton that the huskys spouts were breaking a hell of alot. I was advised to buy stihl as they never had a replacement spout needed for failure.

I've got both types..prefer the semi clear stihl, if only because you can see whether you've remembered to put the 2/ oil in.

You also have to be careful with the husky one in the rain. One of my employees was using one years ago in steady rain, and just left the nozzle on, as you do; what he didn't notice was that rain was gathering around the bottom of the nozzle, where the thread is, so he was putting in a couple of teaspoons of water in with every fill, until the saw packed up.

Only trouble Ive had with my Husqy can is on the oil can I over tightened the spout and stripped the thread:thumbdown:, But I moded it to get a few more years out of it.Next time probably buy a Stihl one.
