Sorry lads, haven't got time to comment on this one.

Off down the local garage to fill up my truck, chipper and 200 Jerrycans before all the idiots start panic buying.

Every petrol station in the district have been inundated all day with panic buyers.

In another day or so the stations will be deserted because everyone has filled up.

Just reinforces my views that humans are selfish and greedy scum

They only donate to the labour government/party dont they?

I think the present government might end up having the last laugh here, everyone has bought fuel and continue to do so, if and when a strike happens no one will care cos everyone has plenty! If its true that the majority of people only put one third in their tanks at a time then then the other 2/3 are now full so everyone is ok. The strike will mean nothing and will probably be called off.

Also, the drivers who threatened the strike are now having to work flat out (the very thing they were complaining about in the first place) to refill all the stations, ha, ha, serves em right, stop winging about the fact that you are employed!

As bad as it sounds! I think the only thing that could bring the country back together again would be a war!! Bring back national service to educate and discipline our disrespectful youth of today!!

tanker drivers...£47,000 a year...and they need to go on strike?...make 'em all self-employed, no sickpay, no holidays and see if they want to down tools then..no?...I didn't think so. This is just blackmail pure and simple. They should pay the Squaddies who are going to be driving these wagons tanker drivers pay until they go back to work!
