One reason I use Aspen

Welcome to the forum, navman.

Its great to hear that you see the benefits of Aspen.

As regards discounts, whilst there are some dealers that discount it a little, there are more who do not discount it all.

I only offer my regulars a little discount if they buy 9 plus cans. This is because there simply is not enough margin in it to discount on lower quantities. I defend this stance as I run my business to a tight policy on profits.

I also sell more Aspen than most other dealers, so the price is not really an issue to many users.

Some of the cheap prices that are mentioned by some posters are from dealers who do not sell much and are still shifting pre price increase stock. As the product does not go stale quickly, old stock is not an issue, so if you can get a deal of this sort, go for it, but consider it a one off, I will bet it will not be repeated.

Where in the country are you?

is there any way arbtalk can sell aspen?

and sell at owest price possible

Thats one for Steve to answer, carpenter.

But its the delivery cost that kills it for 'distance' selling.

The lowest prices are by the pallet, or drum. You would get a discount and free delivery.

Gone and done it after all the problems with my 560 that could be poor fuel or not? As the fuel stations carnt actually tell me how much ethanol is in each brand and husky are dubious about warranty clames on saws run on 20% ethanol fuel, the brain in the saw knows some how....

the New saws will only run On aspen and are stickered up to remind the lads.

where did you get the stickers?

Dealer gave me about 10, thought they was a good idea so new 560 and 540 both are adorned with them and outher saws to follow when I change them over but don't think the 088 will get 1 as it serviced this long on petrol
