Petrol equivalent to red diesel in terms of discount

Is there any way to get a discount on petrol if it's used for agricultural machinery?

Just thought there might be a way to claim the extortionate VAT charged back on petrol if it was used for agri machinery, via some nifty accounting.

Seriously, someone PM me the recipe, purely for academic curiosity reasons, of course. Although, I've read a few threads on the subject and nothing seems conclusive.

We were discussing this the other day and someone told me that even if you filter out the red dye they now have ways of detecting it? Not worth the risk IMO.
