How hard to hit this hedge?

i have no requirement to trim the sides, the thickness of the foliage will be required from a lot of the hedge especially from some of this, as its thin below where i want to take it down to. Although if it is asked of me then it would be a good day with the mewp and hedgecutters!

i usually shorten in the top few rows of branches (often with a hand pruner) it gives a nice edge and the top outer branches dont curl up after just a few months. i can do this really quickly and in comfort from the mewp

Goes without saying mate, we are pros.

 

Robs not that far from you, you could burn over on the 62 and give him a hand teaching him some of our Ninja spike positioning techniques....

 

The pruning gaff/crouching tiger hidden 020 technique cannot be taught master Bolam!
