Well done James, big tree and some good slinging.

I love the mad woman clearing up dog-crap in the flightpath at 4.00 mins!

cheers mark, that woman was a complete nightmare, what you didnt see in the video was her picking up twigs for a couple minutes then she went i cut through most of it then she came back as seen in the video with dog poo thing if you watch closely you can see me shaking my head once she goes. no common sense at all i tryed shouting her waved my hands at her nothing registered

Looks like you were in control.

I know nothing of crane dismantles, but what's with the "throttle blipping", is there a technical reason or just the way you like to work?

i would say it was a case of being cautious and i think i would of done the same that close to the size of them limbs coming off its a case of being preperd good job james buy the way alot of people wouldnt even take on a dismantle with a crane so hat off to you.

Good job. What did you do with the timber?

all the stem sections are in the same size sections cut off with the crane straight in the truck and tipped off to be put on the bonfire or left to rot to much metal work in them to cut into firewood, all rest is to be split for firewood though plenty of that to get stuck into now!

the throttle blipping is just like chainsawdom says to be careful really slowly cut through it looking for the cut to open or close as to weather the crane has to much tension on it or not enough assumeing the slings are set right anyways.
