Lmao!

had the same last week, 2-day walnut, very technical rigging.

She'd had a price of £350, which i advised her to take. She then said he couldn't do it, and had let her down.

I gave her my price and she said 'it takes me a fortnight to earn that much'.

I enquired if she took £40k's worth of kit and someone else to work with her?

She didn't get it at all.

doesn't bother me much any more, she probably makes appallingly distasteful and insipid tea anyway with economy teabags.

We will never earn what we are worth because we are doing a job we enjoy so much (most days!).

How many people do you reckon are on plumberstalk.co.uk having the crack with their mates and posting pics of tap washers they have fitted that day?

The problem is in the eyes of Joe tree work and firewood are non-essential items that any old pleb can do so aren't prepared to pay much for it.
