How is everyone fairing after the last couple of months?

Over £90K of clearance work cancelled in the last 4 months for us. But we've diversified slightly, and things are working out well. I will be looking to hire another 4 climbers in the new year.

dont seem to bad...at the momment!

I don't know, friends are getting a little worried and are tightening belts, spreading the work out rather than ploughing through it, extra days used to be no problem just a phone call, now that seems to have stopped happening, at least for now.

Time to get some more baskets for my eggs.

work is slow but it is still coming in.

keeping all options open and optimistic.I think January may be a tough one.

I've moved away from the construction industry and back to powerline work.

Although quite a lot of our work was for local authority, and its them thats canceling works...

I keep waiting for it to hit... but it does'nt. We still have plenty work ahead of us, I'm booking in to January now which is good because usualy next to nothing comes in in Jan / Feb.

Ive only been going on my own since April this year so don't know whats typical. First six months were quite good, but gone a bit quiet now.

Recession has been hitting here almost all year.

 

Domestic work has been way down this year and not just for us nearly all the local lads have expressed concern about it. Although theres always the odd blagger or 2 that insist they have been busy all year
