Go to Biltima and buy one there.They are the same pattern as the Grunsfors and 30% the cost.You'll loose any Axe in the Bush long before you wear it out.

i use a husqvarna small forest axe identicle to the gransfers bux fantastic axe light enough to carry about and sharp enough to cut anything also great for splitting small stuff cost me £38

Fiskars. Unbreakable, light and excellent at killing sheep. The lightweight does detract from its wedge whacking ability but boy are they awesome.

Painting it bright blue will help with that.

Gransfors small forest axe is my fave choice for a multiple use handy tool.

Gransfors large splitting maul is what I've got (for best haha) it's awesome, had it for ages now and it's not showing any signs of use, chipped wood etc, it's not the lightest tho but it is wicked for splitting, I'm a wimp with it and don't take it in the woods haha

 

if I am going into the woods/felling, I take a crap £10 axe I got from costco for knocking wedges in, not arsed if I loose it or break it then :-)
