Why are they heroes???

 

A hero is some one who risks life and limb for others.

 

While I agree its remarkable and takes a certain kind of courage, its also monumentally selfish.

The heroes are the hospital team who put him back together and the rescue team and walkers who saved his life!.

I think you'll find that 99.9% of people who jump off a cliff hit the rocks at the bottom. Bet he wishes he left the camera at home that day (or tied the string on the balloon 12inches longer!!)
