renewing helmet

bit of advice needed......helmet up for renewal soon and am looking for options instead of the usual petzl:confused1:

I rekon Petzl is the best out there, vents to let the heat out and a proper strap to hold it on if things do go wrong.

well i cant vouch for how good it is but my next helmet is definetly going to be the stein

My boss has a stein helmet - it looks as though the rivits which hold the head cradle inside are already wearing loose after a couple of months - might be my mob-handed boss but thought it was worth a mention.

i kinda like the treequip ones......think i read on hear somewhere that they do them in white,nebody know if thats still the case?

I have a Petzl and its a really good helmet, couple of the guys I work with have Kasa helmets and they swear by em recon there dead light, think they are the same as the Stein ones to be honest they look good helmets.

My Petzl got run over by a tractor last week, got a Stein, I prefer it to the petzl. I'm not convinced by the visor but giving it a go and it seems pretty good, just see how long it lasts. The peltor ear defendors are not as good as snapping in place as the sordins on my petzl but I'll live with that. Everyone will also take the mik if you have a visor...

 

Get the Stein IMO
