hey guys,

apologies if this has been covered, i did search but couldnt find alot.

so here it is, which chainsaw trousers would people recommend for work in brambles? the estate i work on is overrun with them, they are the bane of my life. my stihl advance type A's have been totally ripped apart. so does anyone have any experience here they would like to share with me?:biggrin:

stretch airs are definetly the most robust trousers ive ever used im yet to rip any part of the stretch airs.

 

definetly dont go for stihl hi flexs they will rip to shreds.

I use canvas gaiters over the top of my chainsaw trousers, when i am battling brambles in the woods. My current forestry trousers are noe 4 years old, so i think they do make a difference.

Stretch air stuff looks lovely, shame about the price tag.

 

Buy cheap buy twice they say. I bet its cheaper to buy stretch airs in long run they just wont tear or rip or brake now they have sorted the zip issue.

Have heard good things about the Progress as well, but they have just copied SA and are nearly as much.

 

My SA's are battered now, after nearly 3 years. I wonder what I will replace them with....
