Here you go then @nepia  some late afternoon shots from the same section of marsh, a couple of weeks ago, the call of the Curlew is one of the most evocative sounds that I hear across the estuary.

I'm lucky enough to see and hear curlews every time I visit the top of Scotland, an annual event

Thanks, for that you can have a couple more, same bird different day, much flatter light. Often see it in this location but it depends whether it comes in close enough to get a decent shot.
