how did u get 1?

Dunno really - went in on saturday asking when they were due out and he said they had one due in today or wednesday.

Looking good, good job we've got loads of new felling work just come in!! Have you tested it on a few table legs?
Nope, not yet going to let rip tomorrow

I didnt think you liked new technology on saws

I don't  but I needed a new little saw, surprised how much I liked the 560 and got this for 346 money. Got to take a punt once in a while and if it's no good I'll shove it one ebay as lightly run in

Well Mr Sheppard?

How does it do? I've ordered one today so just tell me about the bits you liked:biggrin:

I've still to let rip as been trying to get caught up forwarding but initial few minutes Wednesday morning were pretty encouraging - feels more similar in power to a 357 and delivers power in a similar way to the 560. If it's reliable, then it should knock the socks off the 346 quite comfortably :thumbup1:

346 is the mutts nuts!

Not at all; my box fresh ms261 whips my 8 month old 346 in every way. :001_tt2:

Had hold of one yesterday and hopefully should have mine by Tues or wed next week. Taking a bit of a punt as not actually seen one running but if it does to the the 346 what the 560 did to the 357 it can't be bad.

First impression when picked it up was it felt very similar geometry to the 242 - seems a step in the right direction

apart from the melting roller bearings and shodding clutches, which they still have not sorted.

346 has the top perch, but i have a feeling the 550xp will sit on top
