3 pairs of elten hydrofells for me.lasted 2 years,18 months and 14 months respectively.either at 43 years old I'm getting faster and working harder or these boots are dropping in quality,i know where my money is.airstreams I think for me next

I have the stein phantoms and have found them to be a decent boot. Mine are coming up for a year old and only on the very wettest days this winter did I have damp feet, they are wearing fairly well but I don't think the soles are replaceable so my guess is that those will wear out way before the rest of the boot does. The only down side I found with them was that they take a fair bit of breaking in being made from 3mm leather but once you get past that they're great.
