Take your pick really, I find it hard going when every thread quickly gets derailed, people start conversations in the middle of threads that could be easily done over PM or a phone call. People starting a thread instead of searching for things. It goes on and on. Maybe I've just been on her for nearly 8 years and seen it all before. Hard to keep positive I guess and that leads to less posts

Too many aggressive posts/posters just waiting to jump down others throats imo, I sometimes write a reply to a thread and then think bah it will probably get someones back up, which seems pretty easy to do now days, so delete it because I can't be bothered to get into a squabble on the net.

Ditto:)

One person on here gets my goat up  Ill login but as soon as they get their soap box out then its good evening from Me.

Maybe the site would work better if a limit was put on the ammount of replies to threads that can be posted in any 24 hour period

Hi Pat . Glad to see you are still breathing bud . :001_smile:

Maybe Steve or one of the mods could post a definitive list of which cliques there are on Arbtalk, and their members?

That way, lads like Butler who aren't in a clique yet could decide which one to join.

I'm the head of the teetotal treework is a serious matter clique. We don't have a lot of fun, but we know some big latin words and lots of breaking strains and safety factors and stuff.

We consider the other cliques to be competitors 'on our patch', and always give them a virtual 'grimace out the truck window'.

You know who you are....
