landrover tipper/price

I know someone who is selling a completely rebuilt landy on a galv chassis, it has a 3.something litre engine out of a mazda or isuzu or something like that,tipper etc. The info ive given there is about as much use as tits on a fish but i know the mechanic who rebuilt it if you want to know any more about it.Said he was looking for 4kish but negotiable.

I'll get some more info about it and ask the mechanic what he reckons its worth, pics might be a bit more difficult but if anyone is really interested i might be able to get owner to email some pics.It was an old model not sure of the year but not much as changed on them as you know

For work I prefer the later 300 Tdi much more basic. still command hi prices tho, I paid £5500 3 years ago. hicap with 120k. don't regret a penny of it.

 

HI mate yes 300 tdi are very good i paid £5500 for 2 years ago it had a new tipper on and i was in very good nick it been very good land rover last winter it very good in snow far better then a cab star for the snow :lol:at £5500 it was a steal all the best jon :thumbup:

if you are happy with it have the money buy it life is too short go on get it !

 

I'd agree! I am currently doing it the other way round. I bought an old 200Tdi 110 and am fixing it up ready to put a tipper on it. Right now I wish I'd saved myself a lot of trouble and just bought one in good nick like this! Then some other poor chap would have spent their money on it getting it right for me to enjoy! :001_smile:
