landrover tipper/price

The difference is with the rear suspension - extra plates are welded to strengthen the rear chassis and double coil springs are used (sometimes called helper spring). IMHO this set up is brilliant. The rear is so much firmer especially with heavy loads. The double coils are much better than a single HD spring (again IMO).

You can get a similar effect with airbag helper springs. ARB makes them and they go inside the existing springs. I've had unbelievable weights (a very large diesel engine + flywheels) in the back of mine + trailer with a piece of machinery on it, and you start with the nose up in the air, a prime candidate for inspection. Pump up the springs to 35 psi, and the landy is level, looks like any normal 110.

get the angle grinder out on the hilux Tim

Im wanting to change our 130 for a new 110 hicap.

although the 130's bigger I'm not sure its better as full its overloaded anyway.

Think it would probably make sense to buy a chasis cab from LR and just take it to a coach builders

unless you can find a low mileage Hicap td5 take the tub off and go from there - but they seem to be like hens teeth
