Andy,

Are you not a wiz at web sites?

Many Arbs out there would appreciate a real Arb creating their site for them.

Also, what about grinding?

You could use a young spotty for any grunty stuff.

I also never knew rectal haemorrhoids could be so debilitating:001_tt2:

Get weller sooner!

Many a true word spoken in jest, Ty, infact it was partly mistaking blood in my stools that masked a far more sinister problem inside my body. I am no wiz at websites, in fact I struggle with most computer related stuff! I shall find something to do, just trying to decide what in the short term.

Hi A

Sorry to hear you've been hit with all that ........ but I'm sure your personality will bring you through

First ,,priority= Family

second focus is cut all wasted money expenditure

third explore income including benefits

( seriously mate you've put in so dont be scared of taking out of the system)

fourth dont be afraid of arms length management ,, I had too for months quite a few years back following a bad car smash meant working was not possible ...

So do what what you can go pricing, even if you have to be driven to see the client

you'll be suprised their response will lift you on its own

then rely on those you know can do the job without taking the piss ...

then when you improve look at options ,, training - assessing - consultancy - advisory

theres loads of Newbies around that would love to gain the heads up from guys who've been there & done it

look at these & carryout a distant appraisal can you realistically do this at the sharp end & if so is that sustainable going forward 47 is oone thing 57 is quite another ...

I am available as a sounding board as are the rest of your mates

chin up dude

Haha I expected to be the butt of a few jokes when I started this, in fact I probably came out with most of them myself at one time or another in the last few weeks. all I'm going to say here is that my own stupidity and pride led to 2 major ops and 8 weeks of hell

It sounds like you've had some great advice on here Andy, especially the tree inspections. If it would be any help I know of 5 or 6 forestry consultants in the region who it could possibly be worth contacting about this kind of work on large ag estates.

I don't know a great deal about it, but how about becomming a training assesser for chainsaws and other kit. Whenever I have looked at doing any chainsaw courses, i would have to have travelled 30 miles or more, although maybe there are more about than I realise.

Best of luck with your recovery Andy
