Yup shot yesterday and won the sweep. 19 quid in the black so all good. Shooting again tomorrow and again friday n sat. Friday is a sold day but we have been told no to take any prisoners (within reason).

Trying to, but the sitkas regen clearance contracts are needing to be done too!

getting behind with logs, and orders still keep coming, managing do do about 12-14 loads a week whenever I'm not cutting sitka, and then there is the firewood processing to keep up with...!

Blowing a hooley up here today. 40-50 just now with higher this afternoon. Binned the climbing work and a chipping job. Dry and bright which makes it frustrating.

Finally we get some rain. The whole country is pretty much on drought alert. 150mm minimum of rain required but it's only forecast for today and tomorrow before we're back to high 20's.

Bad weather here today, gales, rain and snow later.

 

Going down the yard to split logs for next year and going some stumps from some small trees I took down to make more room. At least we,re under cover for the splitting
