Hi NFG do you work in that heat mate thanks Jon

Yes, sometimes, block laying today then some garden work in about 35 & was welding the other day, sun so bright it triggered my mask, I recommend:

1. Drinking plenty of water doesn't have to be anything special, tap or Peckham Spring will do

2. Wear a hat with a brim, a shirt with a collar (as opposed to T shirt or vest) to protect your neck & UV sunglasses. I only use sun screen if Im going to be out for a while because it stops the natural build up of Vitamin D - However if you are susceptible then its obviously necessary.

3. Work steadily, dont rush - its easy to over heat

4. Take frequent short breaks if its really hot

5. Look out for others: skin on necks & legs ie areas where they can't see.

Seeing all the press talk of a heatwave I thought best see what we are expecting. Punch our postcode into the met office web site to see we will see the dizzy heights of 23C today and no higher than 21C for the rest of the week.

Can't say I am complaining as it's quite hot enough already. Processing yesterday and got through 5 litres of water mind you that's standing next to an 65C oil tank.
