i would say try and get a letter from the physio stating that your injury is work induced maybe.

I think it,s a foregone conclusion as to how the injury came about. It,s just whether or not the taxman would stomach it or not?

i pulled my hip muscle last week, just got the missus to rub deep heat in , took ibruprofen and went to work, when i got up the tree i was fine. im the other side of 30 too, but stubborn and will rit my teeth and get on with it...good old army training..stop moaning and carrying on.

has any 1 ever pulled a muscle in their shoulder blade? if so how long does it take to heel?

i think it pays to keep as active as possible to prevent injury.i gave up football at the age of 33 not really through injury (the odd ache maybe) but more about family commitments.i've had 4 years of back,shoulder,knees and ankle trouble ever since,this year i've been coaxed out of retirement and feel like a new man,could be coincidence and being older i will inevitably be more subsceptible to injury(touch wood) but i'm sure its doing me good
