p-ssing my pants here...steve next time you jump into your cab, check the sticker about weights it can carry..

hope your not thinking the vans an e reg single wheeler tranny tipper???????

lol..give it a shake:thumbdown:

i know exactly what they carry mate cos i have been pulled over by vosa and weighed.....that figure you quoted is more than likely the figure for the chassis cab only.....factor into that the weight of the tipper body and you'll have about what i said. go to a weighbridge if you dont believe me, i'll even pay for it:001_tongue:

Yes the payload of a transit is poor, the grave digger at work got pulled and was over weight on the back axel.

So we have spent sometime at the way bridge, as I see it you are lucky to be able to carry 900kg If u want to carry kit as well. With two guys and all our kit and a full tank of diesel we weighed 2350kg.

It is far to easy to over load a 3.5 ton truck:thumbdown:

I was with Steve when he got pulled up for being overweight, a level load to the top of his boards is legal, with 2 men and kit on board, the 1st time we were pulled we were loaded much the same as the pic in your avatar, and we were seriously overweight, on both axles, Steve cn say how much the %s were.
