Computer scam

Just thought someone might like to know they don't need to spend any money at all getting this problem removed, as for 'buy a mac problem solved', three minutes of my time in three years or buy a £900 mac, don't think so.

Yes but I think every PC lover or should I say anti Apple person is missing is that, all these things can be fixed, but if you own a Mac you won't have to fix them because that they just don't happen.

Look at the iPad, surf the net nite and day on it and there is not 1 virus out there to harm it.

There have been security exploits in them though, although they were patched fairly quickly.

I'm not anti apple. I would love one but the money just isn't there to get one! So I opted to upgrade what I have!

Yeah but hardly any apple owners keep their machines long enough for them to go wrong because they are sooo gullible they rush out to give Apple even more of their hard earned money because they believe the bull that is poured out by apple about how the latest must have has been released........its like the i-pad blag...they already have the next one ready befoer the last one is sold, so with all the hype and the fan boys' going on and on they take three times the money off you......and woe betide anyone owning an apple who says ANYTHING bad about their product on the apple forums- you just get banned, expanding the myth that these machines dont go wrong.........given that the hardware is IDENTICAL to that of A Pc, the idea that they are ANY more reliable is just laughable.

And i have even started on the restrictive nature of their software (such as i-tunes (which BTW is losing popularity fast due to the issues that it is causing to peoples machines)) or the contemptible and hypocritical way the whole company started in the first place and has continued ever since.......

I am new to Mac, but I have been very, very impressed so far!!!

It just seems far more intuitive to use, way faster, the battery life is miles better.

Little things make it really nice to use, such as a lit up key board that makes typing in the dark easy and the power cable attaches magnetically, so if the wire gets pulled it just comes off without damage, genius!!!!! (I have every one of my previous LT's plug sockets damaged)

The anti-virus I use is the free version of Avast. The first 'problem' in about 3 years, the computer is well used, and only took 3 minutes to sort out so I can live with that.

Would switch to running Linux on PC before buying a mac as similar performance is way cheaper, I understand OSX can run on PCs but Linux is free.

Ubuntu linux...free as in beer and free as in speech:thumbup:

No anti virus and yet to have any type of infection
