The only thing wrong in that vid was the saw didn't have a ''full wrap handle'' why the hell don't we get the option of full wrap on big saws, the yanks do:thumbdown:

Yeh, maybe I did.

 

I'm just a little sensitive these days when it comes to PPE and the lack of it as seen in the vid. The sensitivity is caused by the many accidents our industry has seen recently. I’m also concerned at how we portray ourselves to others (HSE for example) The guy should be criticised, not congratulated.

 

 

I'd have to disagree John, he's not portraying himself as a professional arborist.

 

I would imagine same youngun has filmed there grandad doing what he does best with some pride.

 

Anybody with a car over 4 years old should sell it imediatly as it doesn't have the latest safety technology.

 

I think there has to be distinction between a video like this and a load of DIY'rs taking down a tree on the cheap in their back garden.
