Been meaning to stop and photo this old girl for a long time, got a call to look at another tree on the property and it ended up with me looking round this for 20 minutes.

 

Measures 24ft round and played host to a group of threeTree creepers whilst I was stood inside it.

That's seen some local history goes past under it's age old boughs, in it's time.

 

Impressive to see it still (just) functioning and that an urban tree owner is (seemingly) happy to keep it.

 

Have you spoken to the owners at all Dean?

Yes...

 

I got his assurances he was going to look after it.

 

He actually said he bought the tree and the house came with it :thumbup:

 

He also said Kew had been up sometime in the past to have a gander
