After spending all day with cold wet hands i have decieded that a pair of gloves is needed. Was thinking maybe thin neoprene gloves so can still tie knots and climb. Anybody tried neoprene gloves? or are there better gloves to wear?

Could never get on with gloves when climbing so never wore them even on the coldest days, bit cold when pulling up the tree but soon warmed up when I started working. Suggest work even harder when it's cold...

I never wore gloves until I won some of here in the first Xmas raffle back in 2007, they were the sticky ones, cotton dipped in rubber. I could not believe what a difference they made!!!!

 

I've worn them ever since.

seal skinz gloves are meant to be nice and dry

 

I bought a pair of these last year for climbing in, and found that they were not very grippy on ropes.

 

Iv'e been using showa grippy gloves lately which make a big difference when climbing using a hitch or spiderjack:thumbup1:

Put in Contour Avenger on Ebay gents iv always used them in building trade yet their thin enough to load a.177 in my Air Arms..

 

these are nice gloves to work in. bought two boxes at costco couple of months back :thumbup:
