Is clipping a hand ascender to your line before you limb walk and running your line through a krab the only way to get back in whilst having your full weight on your climbing line ? Would lik to make more srt progress but limb walking is slowing me down

i mean this with the greatest respect but grow a pair and pull yourself back up.its quicker and easier. less set up time. start with the hand ascender technique but gradually build up the muscle and confidence to pull yourself back in. only if the branch is flowing towards the ground i MITE use the ascender but usually i take a controlled swing towards the trunk. as its alot easier to ascend the rope than a near veritcal branch when using srt

 

If all else fails a redirect is also very usefull
