I see no reason to buy the ZK-2 if you have a zk-1. As long as you have a wrench that works and you are able to climb on a single line when you need to. The zk 2 will be a bit different but it accomplishes the same purpose. I dont want to discourage people from buying the zk2 though!

Hi Kev,

Is it adjustable? or set up for larger (1/2 inch) ropes?

 

Was there any research on the bushing being one way?

 

I would buy it. I plan on being a maggpie that can chronicle the evolution of SRT work positioning tools. Something to bore the grandkids with.

We've been barreling around a cedar today and the Zk2 is much quicker on smaller ropes, im on Yale Kernmaster and its a dream.

 

But like Kevin said, if you have one that works its all good. Kevin is making his product better but still does the same as the Zk1.
