Rope Wrench feedback

Recommended Posts

I'm really enjoying the wrench. As far as I can see it will be a tool.ill.use in certain situations. Some trees srt some drt. Now I have the quick release pin its easy to.swap between the styles. I would recomend it to anyone who has been climbing long enough to have become a bit bored. Personally I haven't enjoyed climbing this much for yearss. It's brought back all the fun feeling you only get when your learning.

Cards on the table.

I'm 44 this year. My body is in decline after years of abuse. I consider 70' trees to be about my limit these days, any bigger and it's simply more cost effective for me to bring in decent climbers who are 2x faster than me.

My first 20' are always off a ladder, or spikes.

Will the RW still improve my life?

Ian Flatters, I notice you have a right handed hand ascender and a right foot Pantin.

Would it be better to have them as opposites so that the foot loop is not crossing from right hand to left foot? Maybe it doesn't make any difference, I'm just curious.

Thanks.

Hello,

I prefer to climb this way round, just feels better for me, :001_smile: I don't think it makes much difference personally tho. I think its because when i clip my strop into the LJ its all on the same side (kit-wise).

Probably not, but it would look cool hanging off rear view mirror :lol:
