Just wondering how the unseasonal weather is affecting log sales as i was flat out this time last year, was busy uptil couple of weeks ago now gone quiet.

Ditto.

Log Sales have died a death at the moment. Luckily wholesale kindling sales are filling the gap for me. Have also heard that the price of cord roadside is falling as purchasers for pulp, chip and board are scaling back over euro worries.

Likewise, very slow. Regulars ordered early so stocked up. Warm weather seems to affect it for sure.

Get used to it!

Aside the odd frost here and their the remaining period for November compared to last year could not be any more different!

Every pattern in the northern hemisphere is just about turned on its head from the same time last year.

Relatively dry yet mild Nov,

Wetter windier avg temps and a more Atlantic influence Dec,

Winter comes Jan 12 ;)

Do you think we will have a hard winter in January. I remember still cutting the grass in December about 3-4 years ago your predictions are normally spot on.

Thought it must be the logs I was selling! interesting that everyone else has gone quiet, Sold more logs September /October than last year ,now it has tailed off with warm weather, everyone got stocked up early for the forecast snow at end October.

Ready for some more cold weather now, that'll get things going again!
