Most of the machines I have owned have been good, and I have been through a few. It all depends how well you treat them and complete repairs and servicing as required.

As an investment I run mine into the ground, can't be doing with buying the latest new toy on the market and most of them have lasted a good few years.

takeuchi`s are a good machine!!

i run a cat 301.6c myself but i have used takeuchi`s that i have hired in & have been pleased with them

it dosent matter what machine you run it wont stay a good machine unless you keep up with the regular greasing & service regime!!!!

the company I work for runs a fleet of takeuchi diggers from 1.5 tonne to 8tonne including conventional and zero swing versions also 8 tonne wheeled, brilliant machines imo,far better than some of the other makes I have used over the last 20+ years as a plant operator.

I know where I would spend my money if I was in your position!
