I would never advise somone to go into tree work, especially not right now.

 

The financial commitment required to complete even the most basic training, the amount of time working for a firm getting experience on a very low wage, all for the chance of getting good and running a business or being self employed. Its not worth it imo.

i am studying to do arb at the moment, in dumfries there is still plenty work but the way i see it il always have work weather im bk 2 construction with the machines or felling or climbing, theres always work out there 4 me

its the same with any jobs, the people who have been doing the job for x amount of years will hands down have more experience and know of easier ways to do the jobs
