Evening people.

Not really a regular on here but looking for a bit of advice.

I'm in the market for a new track chipper. I've been using the new greenmech 19-28 all week and its been a good bit of kit but I've always stuck with timberwolf.

Anyone got much experience of a 190TVGTR? I'm looking at a few at the moment and the timberwolf is a canny bit more costly but is it that much of a better chipper? Whats it like off rd?

Answers and suggestions on a postcard pls!! I've had a look at a couple but if anyone's selling one let me know too pls.

Cheers

Paul:confused1:

Greenmech Vari-Trak out performs them all imo. Speak to Peteb on here:thumbup1:

I have bought 2 chippers off him, they have been in excellent condition and his after sales is second to none.:001_cool:

Cheers Pal,

I've sent him a message. I'll let you know what comes of it. I'm just a bit wary of the green machine from years gone by but apparentley they're a much better machine now.

Used both the 190 tracked and the 19-28, the Greenmech outperforms the Timberwolf chipping, its got the vari track whereas the timberwolf is fixed.

The only advantage I can see to the TW is that is weighs a lot less, 1350kg from memory as opposed to 2.2 tonnes from memory, depending on the age of the machine.
