If times are desprate for you, mighth be worth a try, but get them done by a pro, like vista print. Quality always pays and it will make you stand out from pikeys. But flyers arent the best way of doing it, try sign writting on vehicles, or word of mouth, or local paper.

I was struggling with work, and tryed flyers but didnt going knocking on doors, went to shops and had them advertised for free in there, and also local pub.

Hope it works out for you mate, i've got lucky and got offered a job doing line work now, but keeping my work in the background, just takes time.

Good luck mate.

You'd be better getting your motor sign written and leaving it parked outside the exit of your local B&Q or Sainsbugs every sat. I get loads of calls from nurses and doctors because our lass is a nurse and parks the car in the hospital carpark.

I've had a few saying they've got the number off the car from the super market. Well worth sign writing.

Advertisement is not for pikeys...if done right with high quality flyers..yo wil get calls...is a number game ..hand out 100 and get maybe 2 calls.

if you want a small business then keep waiting for calls...but it is marketing skild you need to grow mate

High quality flyers stand out mate, but people think your desparate and will steer clear, and not sure why, but people do think of pikeys, maybe do both. flyers and your vehicle, that way people see your van and flyers.

Bollocks.

40% of my work used to come from flyers, these days I get a lot of referrals. Its how you WORK not how you advertise that distinguishes you from the pikeys. A professional looking flyer will definately bring you work, allow 5 to 10 jobs per thousand flyers imediately followed by a steady trickle after that, some a year later. Printing.com have been very good for me thet often have special offers too.

Flyers are a good start i still use that way of advertising every 12 months just because i think every little helps.
