So, does ANYONE know what the holder between the 2 reservoirs opposite the holder for file/wrench/driver is for?

The moulding is quite specific, have tried all sorts, including quick fill spouts, but nothing quite lines up right. So, what's it for???

You can get a slide in part that holds scrench, files etc, havent seen one lately though

Quick fill spout doesn't fit, properly, plus there are potentially 2, so that theory's out.

Thats what its for according to all the literature i have seen on it, such as on honey brothers website, and abbey garden machinery website etc etc etc.

I have used that slot to clip to the shaft of my splitting maul and carried into the woods like that.

Perhaps we can have a challenge to see who can come up with a useful object that is retained comfortably in the slot

It would be a challenge alight...as Ironjack says, the filler doesnt really fit....I chucked that holder out lol!
