Now there's a can of worms opened..... :001_rolleyes:

Good job you did'nt go the whole hog and ask about boots and pants as well. :sneaky2:

Seriously though as advised by the other members its a very personal choice, whats fit for goose could be a ganders instrument of torture! You need to look at and if possible try as many as you can really to find one that suits you.

But as a nice middle of the road option for a newbie climber, you could'nt go far wrong with something like the Komet Butterfly. Great little harness, resonably priced; light; functional.

I've climbed on one for a while and loved it, but have recently upgraded to a Skylotec Kolibri.

As said before there are many, You could look at other aspects as well as having sliding d-rings, bosun seat doesn't squeeze your cheeks quite so much, central rear attachment point for your chainsaw, I brought a harness off theocus on here, It is so darn comfortable, would be perfect except no sliding rings!

Cresto harness - Treeworker.co.uk

Do you want to buy it? £90 inc p&p, it's all in one piece, no stitching loose?
