Done a horse box brake discs and pads today. Done by 2 so a nice break now before hitting the husky tomoz.

 

Was the horse still in the box for a face to face repair:001_rolleyes:

 

357XP has come of the rails - crank seal is leaking...bugger, another job to do.

 

Another pile of kit arrived in today - two MS200Ts, a Stihl 011 and a MS180.....what a life....it never stops:lol:

Ok. The husky is now top of the list. Ts400 is done and dusted.

 

The husky is a 435, it will start and run no problem, get warm and die out. Only start again if cold or on choke, but soon die out again. Looked into exhaust and o scoring there. Comp is also fine.

 

So next move, remove the piston and measure rings.

 

Fuel is fine and its always getting it.

 

I do have one question. How do you adjust the high low screws, they don't have slots in but like a spline edge on them. Don't get it. Not enough room to get pliers or the like.

 

Anyway. This morning I was cleaning up a diesel storage tank. Outside using a needle gun. Never used one before, what an awesome bit of kit. Much better than an angle grinder with a wire brush on it.

Ok. I need a husky 435 piston kit. Looked on the bay but nothing but USA. No good. Anyone got sites. Not sure if meteor do one. Well have o have a look.

Rich, if its the splined adjusters like im thinking I used a bit of rubber pipe and pushed over the end (of a screwdriver) and turned them that way. Not sure if you can do it that way with a 435?

Hmmm got idea.,they didn't move with a small flats screwdriver it the pipe idea may work. Will have a look.

Depends on how far in they are so to speak but also heard ppl use the end of the red wiring crimp connecters and push them on on the smaller husqys but that method needs good accessability so to speak.
