I'm due a pair within the next few months I think! Been sewn up a lot now my hiflex.

 

I like the price of the hiflex, however, I'm keen tontry something else. Don't know whether I could shell out for the new stretch airs. However, are the 2011 models good?

 

I've been looking at the stein ones too. seem pretty good!

 

What's the best option?

I think again that personal preference is a massive issue here. Go and try some on. I have some stretch airs but to be honest I prefer my hi-flex for fit and comfort.

The Oregon Waipoua Type C are pretty nice, light and well priced. My previous boss had a pair. Didn't wear them myself but worth a try perhaps? I won't be getting high flexes again...every time I climbed a conifer I got a new hole torn.
