I don't see the point of that, when you can only use it for self rescue, or do you go in a lot of muddy fields? :001_smile:

 

Errr.....maybe for dragging trees/logs...................:001_rolleyes:

Hi Rover90, the winch is a WinchMax, found it on Ebay. The winch is fitted for self recovery, but also for what you would you a winch for in tree services,(aiding in pulling trees over, pulling trees to chipper etc) so makes sense to me Firethorn.:laugh1:

yes being able to pull yourself out of a sticky situation is totally pointless indeed:001_rolleyes:

I remember getting stuck on a level piece of lawn 1 day in summer:blushing:3 hours i waited to get towed out with my mates tractor.

 

Thats a really neat job, winches are excellent. Get a big heavy duty drag sheet made up for getting brash out of tight driveways and some pulleys, i have pulled trees over behind houses with a winch in the front street:thumbup:
