Get ready for another groundbreaking product from Arbortec Forestwear

http://www.arbtalk.co.uk/images/scafell1.jpg[/xfloat]Landing in the UK on the 1st of September the new ScafellTM chainsaw trekker will hit the Brirtish market with a vengeance this Autumn.

Building on years of know-how in the forestry footwear industry, Arbortec are rolling out an exciting new generation of chainsaw and forestry footwear with a strong outdoor pursuit/extreme sport influence.

The low-cut, handsome styling of the ScafellTM belies an unrivalled rugged build quality in addition to the trademark comfort fit and feel of the Arbortec Forestwear brand.

The lime green upper, crafted from a single piece of 3mm hydrophobic leather, is shod with one of Vibram’s most rugged sole units, incorporating an XT1 performance flex midsole, for awesome stability in the trees or on the hillsides and a nifty removable steel claw for extra traction on wet timber.

Out of the whole list of other bells and whistles incorporated in the ScafellTM perhaps the biggest eyebrow raiser is the completely new innovation OutDry® technology waterproofing.

OutDry® - a 1st in the chainsaw boot market

[xfloat=left]http://www.arbtalk.co.uk/images/scafell2.jpg[/xfloat]Far from just another excuse for a flashy label, OutDry® is a waterproofing system that is leagues ahead of anything else used in chainsaw footwear, in terms of breathability and moisture management.

A seamless, pre-sealed laminate treatment applied directly to the leather, OutDry® completely removes the need for a traditional membrane system, which in turn results in superior breathability, increased durability; decreased weight when wet and a more inherent form of waterproofing. What more could your feet wish for?

Layers of kevlar tested by the German KwF Institute give chainsaw protection up to Class 1 and a metal safety toecap and full length ballistic midsole ensure safety against crushed toes or punctures from beneath.

Ball bearing lacing with lock out section and volume adjusting tongue ensure a good fit, and the boot comes in a wide size range from 3/36 to 13/48.

[xfloat=right]http://www.arbtalk.co.uk/images/scafell3.jpg[/xfloat]The boot is built for strength and durability and when you look at the 14 month “No Fear” guarantee that comes with the boots, you can be sure these are a sound choice for your next pair.

“It’s what we have been wanting to do for some time” says a spokesman from Arbortec. “Now that the Scafell is here, we look forward to the arrival of our next new style (hopefully later this year), which has some great new features as well.”

The arrival of the ScafellTM signals the birth of an ongoing roll-out of the all new Arbortec Forestwear boot range. You can keep in touch with this by signing up for their monthly e- newsletter, simply ping them your name, address and telephone number at [email protected]

You will be able to buy the ScafellTM anytime after 1st September, from a dealer near you. To locate your nearest dealer, just give Arbortec a ring on 01553 768 346 or email [email protected].
