I don't think there's any public camping - I haven't seen any mention of it anyway. Not sure what the arrangements are for exhibitors and friends though.

 

we've camped there couple of times. first time we just parked trucks in carpark and slept in back 2 nights, great spot in the morning.

 

last time though, 2 years ago, we did same but got asked to park up in a little camp site through the gate where the tanks and army stuff is. there were a few of us in there, had water there, toilets too. seems legit but not advertised...

 

security let us through so we could go sat night party. good fun.

Just got back and It was well worth the drive and the entrance fee :thumbup1:

There are loads of places to eat and they were all very reasonable price wise.

 

A very relaxed atmosphere where the kids could run and play, a beer tent and plenty of stalls selling English cider :thumbup:

 

FR Jones display took first prize IMO but with stands selling everything from Goat burgers to second hand tools and demos from forestry black smithing working horses and chainsaw carving to name a few Im sure there is something there for all ages and interests.

 

Already making plans to go next year :001_smile:
