Grew up with Dickie Davis followed by a Sat afternoon of wrestling Big Daddy n Giant Haystacks, went to see BD at Walton sports center but his opponent didn't show !

Pat Roach was a good wrestler then went on to be stuntman and actor so has always been about but not really seen any since then

a friend of mine sister was married to Andy Robbins the wrestler, he had Hercules the bear, it starred in a few Bond films and went walkabout in the Herbrides, they had a pub in Sheriffmuir. Met them a few times the bear was huge and so was Andy, he looked hard and that was enough for me. Was a great guy though

I have not read the whole thread,but my favourite wrestler has to be me father,british champ, & in the olympics too,he missed a medal,but his dad got a bronze as a gymnast.

i knew a guy that was a pal of Andy Robbins and he said he used to take Hercules to the pub with him! but Big Daddy was the best even though its all just a show. Get them on UFC and lets see how hard they are.
