He was talking about what I said.

I'm fed up with everyone patting each other on the back the whole time, even when they're talking nonsense.

'Great post mate' - 'well done on those run of the mill tree work pictures' - ooh, nice boots, great kit.

As soon as someone makes a derogatory comment it's deleted and then you have to take 'non-swearing' abuse from everyone else.

Why do you all pretend what other people say is great all the time?

If you all act like this in real life it must get really boring.

you don't have to agree with anyone but when you don't, voice your opinions in a less offensive manner and we'll all get along.

People often forget that what others read can be taken rather differently then if you'd said the same to their face. Just yesterday I called my boss a tosser to his face, and told two of my work colleagues to flock off. If I'd written that to them in an email, or posted the same on here, I'd not have a boss, or colleagues by now.

I know what you're saying - I'm not a total social retard, but doesn't it go against the grain having to be so damned NICE all the time?

I dont think we do all agree or compliment all the time,(this is a prime example),there is healthy debate on various threads, but there has to be a line drawn if comments get personal, otherwise the forum, like any other, would chew itself up.

What I do is add my own expletives & insults in as part of my reading process to make it a bit more workmanlike!

The thing is chap you've just fired it into me without knowing the first thing about me, which provoked a stupid answer from myself.

In response to being so damned NICE all the time, thats the way this forum is.

I would like to say sorry for my earlier response.
