I am afaid I would of gone over and caused a seen as sadly if the person is hitting the dog openly then Its lightly the poor dog is getting regular beatings at home . For some people it's a way of life and it dies not allways stop at the dog at home .

Not the right place in this thread Matt, but where is that quote from? I'm sure it's Spaniel, not dog, and was said by someone really famous.

 

Who obviously knew f-all about all three.

Did you know that the term "rule of thumb" comes from the fact that it used to be lawful for a man to beat his wife with a stick, but the stick could be no thicker than his thumb.

 

People also used to think that burrs could be caused by beating a tree with a stick, hence the idea that beating a Walnut was a good thing.

 

We used to be a barbaric people, thankfully most of us have move on.

I've met you once, and know that you and me would do the same thing if we saw someone kicking a dog.

 

Jon, this isn't a dig at you mate. If a six foot plus tattooed skinhead was kicking a muscle jaw type dog, ringing the cops is probably the best idea.

 

Just not my way.
